About Avanafil Tablets
Avanafil is a PDE5 inhibitor – the same family of medicines as sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil. It helps men with erectile dysfunction get and keep an erection when sexually aroused, and is taken shortly before sexual activity.
In the US, avanafil is sold under the brand name Stendra in 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg tablets. Like other PDE5 inhibitors, it must not be taken with nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin, because together they can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
