About Loperamide 2 mg Anti-Diarrheal Caplets
Loperamide hydrochloride slows the movement of the gut to control the symptoms of diarrhea, including travelers’ diarrhea.
Each caplet contains 2 mg of loperamide HCl.
How to use
Adults and children 12 years and over: take 2 caplets after the first loose stool, then 1 caplet after each subsequent loose stool. Do not exceed 4 caplets in 24 hours. Drink plenty of clear fluids. Do not use if you have bloody or black stool, and ask a doctor if diarrhea lasts more than 2 days.

Possible side effects

- Dizziness or drowsiness
- Taking more than directed can cause serious heart problems – never exceed the daily limit
